Said Memon —
The Healer Who
Never Accepts "Incurable"
Founder of the SANA Method. Neurological acupuncturist. Patient advocate. For over 15 years, Said Memon has dedicated his life to finding answers for patients that conventional medicine left behind.
Said Memon
Naturopathic Practitioner & AcupuncturistSaid Memon's journey into neurological healing was inspired by watching a family member struggle with chronic, debilitating pain. Over 15 years of clinical practice, Said has refined these YNSA-based scalp acupuncture methods into the SANA Method to treat conditions conventional medicine leaves behind.
"Every nerve tells a story. SANA listens."
Named for His Mother
Liza PMC is named in honour of Said's mother, whose decades of untreatable chronic pain became the driving force behind his entire clinical career.
The Breakthrough
During training in Japan, Said witnessed a post-stroke patient regain arm movement within 20 minutes of scalp acupuncture — a moment that redefined his clinical mission.
The SANA Insight
Said realised that the scalp is not just skin — it is a cortical interface. Every zone maps to a brain region. Treatment there is treatment of the brain itself.
Why Liza PMC
Exists
Liza Pain Management Center is named in honour of Said Memon's mother — a woman who endured decades of chronic, debilitating pain that no doctor could adequately address. Her suffering was not unique. It was, Said came to understand, the experience of millions.
The conventional medical system, brilliant in many ways, had a critical blind spot: it treated symptoms. It prescribed medication for pain signals without asking why the nervous system was generating them. Surgery addressed structures without addressing the brain's interpretation of those structures.
Said built Liza PMC to fill that gap — to be the clinic that patients reach when they have tried everything else. A place built on the understanding that the nervous system is not fixed, that the brain can rewire, and that with the right stimulus applied in the right place, profound healing is possible.
Every patient who walks through the door receives what Said's mother never had: a practitioner who treats the whole nervous system, not just the complaint.
20 Years in the Making
The Beginning
Said Memon began his clinical training in traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture, fascinated by the nervous system's capacity for self-repair — a capacity conventional medicine had largely overlooked.
First Scalp Acupuncture Studies
After studying under senior YNSA (Yamamoto New Scalp Acupuncture) practitioners in Japan and China, Said developed his first clinical protocols for stroke recovery and tremor reduction — achieving results his mentors called exceptional.
The SANA Framework Emerges
After treating over 100 complex neurological cases, Said formalised his approach into the SANA Method — Scalp Advanced Neuro Acupuncture — a structured protocol integrating cortical mapping, zone therapy, and neuroplasticity research.
Liza Pain Management Center Founded
The Liza PMC clinic opened its doors, named in honour of Said's mother whose own journey with chronic pain inspired his life's work. The centre became a destination for patients who had exhausted every other avenue.
International Recognition
Said presented SANA Method outcomes at international pain management conferences, drawing attention from neurologists and rehabilitation specialists. Case studies of post-stroke recovery were published in peer-reviewed journals.
Expanding the Mission
With 500+ patients treated and a 95% success rate, Liza PMC continues to grow. Said now trains other practitioners in the SANA Method and is developing a formal certification programme to bring this healing to more patients worldwide.
The Principles That Guide Every Treatment
Four convictions that shape how Said Memon approaches every patient, every session.
Precision Over Protocol
Every patient's nervous system is unique. Said rejects cookie-cutter treatments in favour of precise, individually mapped SANA protocols — designed around your specific neurological presentation, not a textbook diagnosis.
Ancient Wisdom, Modern Science
SANA bridges 3,000 years of Chinese scalp acupuncture with cutting-edge neuroscience. Every needle placement is informed by both the classical somatotopic map and contemporary cortical imaging research.
Hope After Failure
Many of our patients arrive after surgery, medication, and conventional therapy have failed. We do not just treat pain — we restore hope. SANA works at the neurological root, where most treatments never reach.
Transparent Outcomes
Said tracks every patient's progress with measurable milestones. He will tell you honestly how many sessions to expect, what improvement looks like, and when another approach might serve you better.
